With courses equally as breathtaking as they are challenging, Thunder Bay has been quietly developing into Ontario’s hidden disc golf treasure. With the completion of the mammoth course at Dragon Hills (co-designed by Cale Leiviska, Chris Wakefield and Michael Thompson) and support from the stunning Bayveiw Disc Golf Course & Birch Point course at Boulevard Lake, Thunder Bay is ready to take a step-forward and represent the true north strong and free with the Northern Ontario Disc Golf Championship.

A PDGA event with much more than the minimum added. Sponsorship support from Four Father’s Brewing Co., Thought Space Athletics, Thunder Bay CEDC & Thunder Bay Tourism, Heartbeat Hot Sauce, Itec 2000,and PDGA Canada has  allowed us the freedom to host a top-tier event to represent the massive northern region of our great province. All players will be provided with power carts for one of their Dragon Hills rounds. Amateur players will receive a fantastic NOC players pack as well as hand-crafted trophies for finishing in the top position within their division.

All players are also welcomed to the (infamous) Saturday evening pub crawl. We’ll be descending on the Red River Road eatery district Saturday evening to eat, drink and socialize with other competitors once our second round is complete.
